Cancellation terms

Restaurant:

Valid in our restaurant for parties of more than 9 people from 2021-03-27 onwards. Under current circumstances when the world view is changing rapidly, we now offer the following cancellation conditions.

When booking a 5-course menu, 6-course menu, 7-course menu or "special" menu, we start from what the menu costs.
When booking an a la carte menu, SEK 200 per person is charged.

Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival.
Cancellations made closer than 7 days before arrival are charged with 50%.
Cancellations that occur closer than 4 days before arrival are charged with 100%.

Hotel and conference:

Order and confirmation
An order is binding as it has been confirmed and you have received a booking number. Booking confirmation is submitted online and sent by e-mail or SMS to the e-mail address or mobile number specified at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to check that the booking details are correct. If something is incorrect or something needs to be changed, it is your responsibility to contact Åtellet immediately. Arrival and departure
The hotel room is at your disposal from 15.00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you must leave the room no later than 11 a.m. The room is reserved for arrival no later than 20.00 If you arrive later, you must notify us in advance by phone or email. If you would like other times, please contact Åtellet.

Cancellation and non-arrival
Cancellation rules vary depending on which price/product you have booked,

- For room and breakfast, cancellation must be made no later than 18.00 the day before the day of arrival. If you do not show up without cancellation or cancel later than 18.00, you have to pay the price for one day.

- For other products/prices, cancellation must take place no later than 2 days before the day of arrival. If you do not show up without cancellation or cancel later than 2 days before the day of arrival, you must pay 50 % of the price for the entire order.

- If it is stated in the product that it cannot be changed or canceled, you must pay 100% of the price for the entire order if you do not show up without cancellation, cancel or rebook.

Early departure
If you have ordered for a fixed period of time but depart earlier, you must pay the same compensation as in case of late cancellation. In addition to the price for the time you stayed at the hotel.

Miscellaneous
All rooms are non-smoking rooms. In the event of a violation of the smoking ban, SEK 2,000 will be charged for cleaning. If you wish to bring pets, you must make a request to us beforehand. The hotel only has a couple of rooms where pets are welcome, so we cannot guarantee that rooms for pets are available in our online booking. In case of approval to bring pets, a cost of SEK 200 per animal per day is added.

If you have special requests regarding food (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) and a severe food allergy, you must state this at the time of booking, especially if you have booked a package with food.

Booking via external booking channel
If you book via an external booking channel such as booking.com, hotels.com, hotel specials and more, other cancellation rules may apply. A booking made via an external booking channel must also be canceled via them.

When booking 1-3 rooms (not package booking)
Cancellation must take place no later than 18.00 the day before arrival. If cancellation takes place later, 1 day's accommodation will be charged.

When booking 4 or more rooms and conference bookings with or without hotel rooms:

In case of cancellation later than 4 weeks, the client must reimburse the hotel with 50 % of the value of the entire order. This also applies when booking later than 4 weeks but earlier than 2 weeks before arrival. In case of cancellation later than 2 weeks before, the client must reimburse the hotel with 100 % of the value of the entire order, but individual people may cancel without an extra charge. This also applies to bookings made later than 2 weeks before arrival. The hotel may request prepayment, then this will be announced in the booking confirmation. In case of possible cancellation, only written cancellation applies. Otherwise, we follow "Visita's general terms and conditions".
