Cancellation conditions
Restaurant:
Valid in our restaurant for parties over 9 people from 2021-03-27 onwards. In the current circumstances of a rapidly changing world, we now offer the following cancellation policy.
When booking a 5-course menu, 6-course menu, 7-course menu or "special" menu, we start from what the menu costs.
When booking an a la carte menu, SEK 200 per person will be charged.
Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival will be charged at 50%.
Cancellations made less than 4 days before arrival will be charged at 100%.
Hotels and conferences:
Order and confirmation
An order is binding once it has been confirmed and you have received a reservation number. Booking confirmations are submitted online and sent by e-mail or SMS to the e-mail address or mobile phone number provided at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to check that the booking details are correct. If anything is incorrect or needs to be changed, it is your responsibility to contact Åtellet immediately. Arrival and departure
The hotel room is at your disposal from 15:00 on the day of arrival at the earliest. On the day of departure, you must vacate the room by 11:00 at the latest. The room is reserved for arrival at 20:00 at the latest. If you arrive later, you must inform us in advance by phone or email. For other times, please contact Åtellet.
Cancellation and no-show
Cancellation policies vary depending on the price/product you have booked,
- Cancellations for rooms and breakfast must be made by 18:00 on the day before arrival. If you fail to cancel or cancel later than 18:00, you will have to pay the price for one day.
- For other products/prices, cancellation must be made at least 2 days before the arrival date. If you fail to cancel or cancel later than 2 days before the arrival date, you will have to pay 50 % of the price of the entire order.
- If the product states that it is not reschedulable or cancellable, you will have to pay 100% of the price of the full order if you fail to cancel, cancel or reschedule.
Early departure
If you have booked for a specific period of time but leave earlier, you will be charged the same rate as for late cancellations. This is in addition to the price for the time you stayed at the hotel.
Other
All rooms are non-smoking rooms. In case of violation of the smoking ban, SEK 2000 will be charged for cleanup. If you wish to bring pets, you must make a request to us beforehand. The hotel only has a few rooms where pets are welcome so we cannot guarantee that rooms for pets are available in our online booking. If you agree to bring pets, there is a charge of 200 SEK per animal per day.
If you have special dietary requirements (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) or a severe food allergy, you should mention this at the time of booking, especially if you have booked a package with meals.
Booking via external booking channel
If you book through an external booking channel such as booking.com, hotels.com, hotel specials etc., different cancellation rules may apply. A booking made through an external booking channel must also be canceled through them.
When booking 1-3 rooms (not package booking)
Cancellation must be made no later than 18:00 the day before arrival. If canceled later, 1 day of accommodation will be charged.
When booking 4 or more rooms and conference booking with or without hotel room:
In the event of a cancellation later than 4 weeks, the customer must reimburse the hotel 50 % of the value of the entire order. This also applies to bookings made later than 4 weeks but earlier than 2 weeks before arrival. In the event of a cancellation later than 2 weeks before arrival, the customer must reimburse the hotel 100 % of the value of the entire order, but individual persons may be canceled at no extra cost. This also applies when booking later than 2 weeks before arrival. The hotel may request a prepayment, in which case this will be communicated in the booking confirmation. In case of cancellation, only written cancellation applies. Otherwise, we follow "Visitas general terms and conditions".
